So Sin Sim

So Sin has been a lecturer with the Monash University Occupational Therapy department since 2017. She has recently completed her PhD in the area on Chinese immigrant mothers of children with disabilities. Her research interest includes maternal and child mental health, mother child co-occupation, family-centred practice, community mental health, post-traumatic growth, community mental health, disaster mental health, and the use of psych-dynamic perspectives in occupational therapy. She has published papers in the area of occupations of mothers, and disaster mental health.
